Emmy and Golden Globe award winning American medical drama directed by Ryan Murphy for FX Networks. The show follows the lives of two plastic surgeons, Sean McNamara and Christian Troy. The series aired from 2003 to 2010.
It stands out for being one of the most controversial shows on basic cable TV. Body parts , beauty and its disturbing consequences are explored together with the drama in the lives of people who decide to go under the surgeon’s knife.
The series focuses primarily on the relationship between Sean and Christian, college friends and partners in successful plastic surgery practice. Sadly, their lives are far from happy: Sean’s marriage to Julia, who dropped out of medical school after becoming pregnant, is strained at best. Their “eldest” son Matt is a madcap of epic proportions who does the most stupid things imaginable. Watching these places is fun, sometimes sad, and you shouldn’t forget about the piquancy.
9. The Tudors (2007)
A Showtime drama about the life of King Henry VIII, who devotes much of his time to the dissolution of his marriage to his elder Catherine of Aragon and his deepening relationship with the cocky Anne Boleyn, who was to be his second wife.

The fourth season (1964-65) breaks this pattern, although much of it is centered around the Vietnam War . Season 5 (1966-67) continues to deal with Vietnam, while Season 6 (1968) is very chaotic (like the year) and deepens racial tensions at the time, including the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr.
The first half of Season 7 begins with Nixon’s inauguration in January 1969 and ends with the first human moonwalk in late July. The last half continues and closes in 1970, with less focus on current events in real life and more on the professional and personal turmoil of the main characters.
